Getting to Sievers Kennels-Directions

• 270 North to 370 West to Elm Street. Go right on Elm St./New Towne Blvd. to Fountain Lakes Blvd. Make a left onto Fountain Lakes, go to the stop sign, then make a right onto Huster Rd. Take Huster Rd. 2 miles to Hwy B. Make a left on Hwy B. Continue on Hwy B. for almost 2 miles. On the right side of the road is Golden Eagle Ferry Sign. Make a right onto Golden Eagle Ferry Rd. and follow the road to the Ferry. Go across the Ferry. Drive back onto Golden Eagle Ferry Road and follow for 2 miles. Go straight onto Gun Club Road. Follow for 2.5 miles then bear left at the 'Y' onto Golden Eagle Rd. Drive 0.3 miles and turn left onto Illinois River Rd. Follow 1 mile to Brussels. (In Brussels, Illinois River Rd. turns into Main St.) Go through Brussels continuing on Main Street. Turn right (still Illinois River Rd.) at St. Matthews Lutheran Church when leaving Brussels. Stay on Illinois River Rd. 3.5 miles. On the left is  Meppen Lane & (Flip & Patty's)  Meppen Tavern sign. Make a left at the sign and follow for 0.7 miles. Make a right at St Joseph's Church on Kiel Dr. The first house is a two-story stone house on the left; that is the neighbor. Go around the corner and on the left is our kennel. 

•  255 North to 143 West, take 143 West until it ends. It will end right beside the Alton Bell Casino. Make left at 4-way intersection onto The Great River Road. Take Great River Road for 14 miles. You will come into Grafton. Continue through Grafton staying on Great River Road. Stay on Great River Road for 3 miles past Grafton, on left is Brussels State Ferry (Toll Free). Get on Ferry, come across the Illinois River. When you drive off Ferry you will drive directly onto Illinois River Road. Stay on for 8 miles. You will come into Brussels. (SMALL COUNTRY TOWN) Continue through Brussels on ILLINOIS RIVER ROAD. On outskirts of town make hard right at St Matthews Lutheran Church. Continue on Illinois River Road for 3.5 MILE On left is Meppen Lane (Flip & Patty's)  MEPPEN TAVERN SIGN, Make left at sign onto Meppen Lane. Continue 0.7 MILE. Make a right at St Joseph's Church on Kiel Dr. The first house is a two-story stone house on the left; that is the neighbor. Go around the corner and on the left is our kennel.  .   

• Take I-72 W toward US-36 W/JACKSONVILLE/I-55-BL N/6th street.
• Take exit #60A/Alton onto US-67 S
• Turn Right on IL-108
• Turn Left on Eldred-Hillview
• Continue on Eldred Rd
• Turn Right on Sandridge Rd(CR-15)
• Turn Right on IL RT 16
• Cross Joe Page Bridge
• Turn Left on IL River Rd (CR-1)
• Continue approximately 10.5 miles. You will see a red "pole barn". At the end of this yard  make right at onto Meppen Lane.
• Continue 0.7 mile, on right is St Joe's church. Make right at Church onto Kiel Dr, this is our semi-private drive.
• Continue past first home on left (two story brown stone), this is neighbors home.
• Go around corner Sievers Kennel is on left.

• Take I-55 S (Stevenson Expressway) to St. Louis from I-94.
• Take I-72 W toward US-36 W/JACKSONVILLE/I-55-BL N/6th street.
• Take exit #60A/Alton onto US-67 S
• Turn Right on IL-108
• Turn Left on Eldred-Hillview
• Continue on Eldred Rd
• Turn Right on Sandridge Rd(CR-15)
• Turn Right on IL-16
• Turn Left on N Park St(CR-1)

Take 70 East or West. Please make sure you know if you need to go 70 east or 70 west. You want to go toward St. Peters. Take 79 North toward Winfield, to Highway N. Turn right on Hwy N. Take to Winfield Ferry Boat. Cross Mississippi River. Drive onto West Point Ferry Road. Go 1/4 mile. At the 'Y' take a left onto Mississippi River Road. Go 2.1 mile to 4-way stop. Turn right onto Main Street (Batchtown Road). Continue 3.2 miles to the 'T' in the road. Take a right onto Illinois River Road. Go 1.5 miles. On the right is (Grey-New Home)(Red Pole Barn). At end of yard is small sign (Flip & Patty's) Meppen Tavern sign.  Make right at Meppen Tavern sign.- Meppen Lane- Go 0.7 miles. On the right is St Joe's Church. Make a right onto Kiel Dr. This is our semi-private drive. Go past the first home on left (two story brown stone neighbors home). Go around the corner Sievers Kennel is on left.
